Handmade variation
Surface irregularity, chipped edges, tonal movement, crazing, glaze pooling, and dimensional variation are inherent to authentic Moroccan tile.
Water applications
Suitable collections may be used for pool waterlines, spas, and fountains when waterproofing, setting materials, and movement joints are correctly specified.
Climate review
Freeze/thaw and fully submerged exterior use should be reviewed for the exact collection and site conditions prior to specification.
Installation & sealing
Use an installer experienced with zellige and handmade tile. Some finishes require sealing — confirm the exact system before installation.
This sheet is a general guide for design and estimating use only. Final approval should be based on the exact product, physical mockups, and project-specific installation requirements.
